Midlands “Estate Agent of the Year” promotes Lincoln valuer

Pygott & Crone has begun 2016 with a host of promotions – with one Lincoln-based valuer being promoted to assistant manager.

Joe Beard, who joined Pygott & Crone as a trainee negotiator at its Lincoln branch, is the man to make the step up.

He said: “The property industry is an extremely exciting one and I’m thrilled to be part of a team that is always busy and looking for new and dynamic ways to improve our services.

“In 2012 I was promoted to senior negotiator and joined the residential valuation team two years later. I’m very proud to have been promoted to assistant manager of the Lincoln branch; I enjoy every minute of providing our clients with outstanding customer service and in-depth local knowledge to deliver the best results possible.

“Ensuring that our clients walk away happy has always been a top priority and I hope to continue to encourage and maintain this ethos as the newly-appointed assistant manager.

“During my time at Pygott & Crone, the business has won numerous awards and I’m proud to have been able to contribute to the agency’s success, showing Lincolnshire and the East Midlands to be a fantastic region for investment opportunities and a brilliant place to live.”

Further promotions include Lewis Brookes at the firm’s Spalding and Holbeach offices, who will now manage the agency’s Boston branch, and Jamie Aspland – also at the Spalding and Holbeach offices – who will take over to manage Pygott & Crone’s newest offices in the south of the county. Rhys Cook has also been promoted to residential valuer at the Grimsby branch.

Pygott & Crone was awarded the Times and Sunday Times “Midlands Estate Agent of the Year” award in 2015 and has big plans for 2016, with further expansion and new job creation expected across the region.

Senior partner Kevin Scrupps said: “2015 has been a hugely successful year for Pygott & Crone; the business won the Insider Agent of the Year Award as well as Agent of the Year at the Relocation Agents Network Awards – to name but a few. These awards could not have been possible without the fantastic teams we have across Lincolnshire, maintaining our high standards and high results clients have come to expect.

“I am delighted to see Joe, Lewis, Jamie and Rhys promoted to their well-deserved new positions; they have been great assets to Pygott & Crone and have maintained the business’ high standards of professionalism whilst maintaining an approachable and creative method of sales.

“We are a Lincolnshire-based agency and we ensure that all of our branches provide a strong local knowledge, which is exemplified in Joe, Lewis, Jamie and Rhys.”
