Lincoln PR firm strengthen team

Lincolnshire PR, marketing and digital agency Shooting Star is on the rise with a new addition to the team.

Alex Bavin has joined the Lincoln-based agency as its new Business Development Manager and brings with her over 15 years of experience in developing new business and enabling strategic alliances.

She previously worked for a large property development company, an award-winning design and digital communications agency and more recently a leading surveying practice based in London.

During the last three years Alex’s role expanded to include the creation and development of a pipeline of new business for VU.CITY, accurate fully interactive digital city models.

Alex says “I’m very excited to be joining the Shooting Star team to support the business in establishing new clients and developing existing relationships,” said Alex.“I am passionate about developing new business partnerships so as we head toward Christmas, I’m looking forward to catching up with our clients and making new connections too.“Please get in touch if you would like to find out more about the work we do and how we can help grow your business.”

Shooting Star Director Jez Ashberry adds: “Alex is a significant appointment for us and we’re really pleased she’s joined our team.“We’re exceeding our growth plans and coming to the end of another record year in terms of our turnover. Now we want to use our success as a springboard to even bigger things, and Alex is the person to help us to achieve that.“Alex is an experienced and very well connected business development manager and we’re sure she will be a tremendous asset to our agency.”

Shooting Star was launched in 2006 and specialises in PR, digital and offline marketing, social media, media training and crisis management.
