JLL expands industrial team

JLL is expanding its Industrial team with the appointment of Richard James-Moore as Director.

Previously employed at BNP PRE as an Associate Director, Richard was involved in acquisitions and disposals for a range of high profile companies including Royal Mail, CWC Group, Opus Land, AJ Mucklow and Barberry.

Prior to BNP PRE, Richard co-founded a niche industrial practice called KGA Chartered Surveyors.

Carl Durrant, Regional Director and lead of the JLL Industrial & Logistics team commenting on Richard’s appointment said:

“The industrial and logistics sector continues to be a stand out performer in the Midlands and UK, and Richard’s appointment is essential to expand the team’s capacity against the backdrop of another strong year for JLL.

“Going forward, the region looks set to enjoy continued success as the logistics market becomes more integrally linked with local economic growth, shaped by consumer’s changing shopping habits and a thriving manufacturing industry.”

JLL works with some of the region’s largest development and logsitics companies including Prologis and SEGRO.

Commenting on his new appointment, Richard James-Moore  added: “Carl Durrant and his team are highly regarded in the industry and to be in the position to work on some of the most enviable instructions in the region is an opportunity any professional would relish.

“I am looking forward to combining both my entrepreneurial skills honed whilst working as an independent with the muscle of a massive corporate such as JLL to help deliver to clients and further my career.”
