Regional law firm Howes Percival has appointed Alishia Marrocco as an assistant solicitor in its family law team.
Marrocco joins the East Midlands team and will primarily practice out of the firm’s Northampton office. She joins Howes Percival from Franklins Solicitors.
Marrocco deals with all aspects of family law including separation, divorce, dissolution of civil partnerships, children issues, financial settlements, co-habitee disputes and domestic injunctions.
Justine Flack, head of the firm’s family law team in the East Midlands, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Alishia to Howes Percival. Our family law practice continues to go from strength to strength. We’re seeing an increased demand for family law and private client services in the region. While nationally there is a downward trend in divorce figures, we have particularly experienced a rise in divorce amongst couples around retirement age – so called ‘silver splitters’. Advising high net worth individuals in divorce proceedings, where there are complex financial relationships between the parties is the core of our work”.
