Following a number of key nationwide client wins and a rise in instructions, property management law firm Brady Solicitors has recruited leasehold solicitor, Adam Fotiou.
Based at the firm’s Nottingham offices on Regent Street, Adam joins Brady Solicitors’ Litigation team, handling leasehold and property management matters and property-related enquiries.
Adam joins the firm after four years as an in-house litigation and dispute resolution solicitor at property management company First Port, the largest residential property manager and leading retirement property management company in the UK, with over 185,000 homes under management.
Adam previously worked at Edmondson Hall Solicitors, Newmarket, where he focused chiefly on Landlord & Tenant and Commercial Dispute Resolution, qualifyng as a solicitor there in 2010.
Adam said: “Brady Solicitors’ specialist and niche approach appealed to me from the get-go. The team strongly believes in establishing a genuine working partnership with its clients to fully understand their business needs. As this is something I really valued when I was in-house, I could tell right away there would be a very good cultural fit.
“Being a long-term leaseholder myself, I have a personal understanding of the period of scrutiny and change that the sector has been experiencing in recent years,” he adds. “It’s more important than ever for leaseholders, landlords and the companies that manage their buildings to take specialist legal advice, which I’m excited to be able to offer in my role at Bradys.”
Founder and MD of Brady Solicitors Clare Brady added: “Adam brings a wealth of highly relevant specialist expertise and knowledge to the firm, including really valuable leasehold experience at First Port, as well as knowledge of the challenges coming from the client side of block management.
“I’m delighted we’ve been able to kick off 2020 by recruiting such a talented and highly motivated solicitor to our team, helping to support our growth strategy across all areas of the business.”
