East Midlands housebuilder appoints new Head of Sales

An East Midlands housebuilder has strengthened its team with the appointment of a new Head of Sales.

Ryan O’Sullivan, from Northamptonshire, brings more than 10 years’ experience in the property sector, and has been with Redrow Homes for five years.

Ryan started his career as a sales negotiator in an estate agency at the age of 18, following his keen interest in architecture and property design. After being introduced to the new build sector by a friend, he made the industry leap to become a sales advisor for a national housebuilder.

Joining the Redrow Homes South Midlands team as a sales consultant in 2015, Ryan quickly climbed the ranks and was promoted to Area Sales Manager just 12 months later. Following the launch of Redrow’s East Midlands division, Ryan was appointed as Area Sales Manager for the region in 2018.

Ryan’s new role will see him lead a team of 15 people, with key responsibilities including creating and managing effective marketing strategies for each site and managing the division’s sales function. He will also enhance the growth and progression of the East Midlands division.

Ryan said: “From the second I stepped foot on a Redrow development five years ago, I was immediately blown away by the brand, product and level of service offered and knew I wanted to be part of it. I’ve loved every moment of my time with the team so far and have had the privilege of being mentored by some of the finest sales directors in the industry. I’m truly thrilled to be taking the next step in my career and am looking forward to moving into the position of Head of Sales.

“I’ve always been incredibly motivated to succeed in the property industry and it’s a privilege to work for a housebuilder that holds such high standards of quality and traditional values. One of the main reasons I love working in this industry is being able to see the results of the team’s hardworking efforts come into fruition, and enabling so many people to find their dream home.”

Martyn Pask, Managing Director at Redrow Homes East Midlands, said: “One of our key focuses at Redrow Homes is valuing talent, and this means finding and developing the people with the right skillset for our team.

“From the moment I met Ryan; I could see he had huge potential. We are delighted to have been able to nurture his talent over the years, and I speak on behalf of everyone at Redrow Homes East Midlands when I say that we’re incredibly proud to appoint him as our new Head of Sales.

“Although we are going through unprecedented times, it’s an exciting period for the division, and Ryan will play a pivotal role in its continued growth, taking developments from concept right through to reality.”
