Djanogly Learning Trust (DLT) has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation as it focuses on expanding its education expertise.
Liz Anderson is currently Executive Headteacher at DLT and has a strong track record in primary education and has progressed from being Head of Djanogly Northgate Academy to leading staff at all of DLT’s primary academies since she joined the organisation 13 years-ago.
Liz is also a National Leader of Education, based on the long-term success of Djanogly Northgate Academy and Djanogly Strelley Academy – which are thriving schools and Ofsted graded ‘good’ following significant achievements in pupils’ outcomes.
More recently, Liz has overseen DLT’s expansion to support other schools in the East Midlands region with Springfield Academy and Langley Mill Academy joining the Trust recently.
Liz said: “I’m absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to lead DLT. Our aim is to provide the best possible opportunities to ensure that all of our children thrive and succeed. All of our academies share this ethos and I am really proud of our staff and pupils.”
Tim Slade, Chair of the Djanogly Learning Trust’s Board of Trustees, added: “We are inspired by Liz’s passion, vision and commitment, and have full confidence in her ability to deliver the Trust’s ambition for growth and its overriding aim to improve outcomes for the children in our care.”
