Actons, the independent law firm in Nottingham, has continued its growth strategy with the appointment of a new solicitor, joining directors Mandy Kelly and Christina Yardley in its private client and wealth management team.
Wills, trusts and probate lawyer Bindiya Patel has experience in estate planning, wills and powers of attorney – advising individuals on ways to protect and manage their personal wealth.
Patel said: “It’s great to have joined Actons – they’re such a well-respected firm in Nottingham and I’m really looking forward to working with Mandy, Christina and the rest of the team. The main thing that attracted me to Actons was the opportunity to continue to learn and develop whilst playing a part in the continued growth of the team.”
Mandy Kelly, director and head of private client at Actons, added: “I’m delighted Bindiya has decided to join our team at such an exciting time for us, bringing our team headcount to nine, one of the strongest in the city. Our commitment and continuing investment in our expanding private client and wealth management offering is especially timely as its proving to be a huge growth area for us.”
2015 was a successful year for the Actons team. In October it increased it’s ranking to Tier 2 in the East Midlands in The Legal 500, the independent legal guide to UK law firms, and recently promoted director Christina Yardley was included in the Nottingham Post Rising Stars and Future Leaders supplement.
