Leasing company forms new charity partnership

A popular local charity, which provides free gifts and support packs to adult cancer patients in hospitals across the Midlands, has been chosen by Silverstone Leasing as their charity partner for 2026.

The Lewis Foundation will be the sole beneficiary of all fundraising at the Northamptonshire vehicle leasing company from January, as part of its continued commitment to the community.

The Lewis Foundation provides items to cancer patients that they might find difficult to source for themselves or simply cannot afford and will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2026, after a decade of working closely with hospitals in the Midlands to hand-deliver hundreds of gift packs each week.

Packs contain overnight essentials and toiletries, letter writing kits, miniature radios complete with batteries and headphones, and lots more. For some patients, The Lewis Foundation volunteers are their only visitors.

Silverstone Leasing managing director Scott Norville said: “It is really important to us to support local charities. We do this not because it is the right thing to do, but because we are proud to be a part of a community that looks after one another.

“We want to make a difference to people who need our support most and The Lewis Foundation was an obvious choice for us after learning of their incredible work in hospitals across the region.

“To be able to help such an amazing cause is absolutely fantastic and we are very much looking forward to working with Lorraine and the team to help provide even more invaluable support to adult cancer patients.”

The Lewis Foundation co-founder and CEO, Lorraine Lewis, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be partnering with Silverstone Leasing. Their support means so much to us and will make a huge difference to the number of people we can reach with our gift packs.

“It’s always so inspiring when a local business chooses to give back to its community and we’re incredibly grateful to Scott and the Silverstone Leasing team for helping us continue to bring comfort and kindness to adults going through cancer treatment.”
