A plastics raw materials distributor, Plastribution Group, has acquired another Leicester-based business, thermoplastics sheet supplier Eagle Plastics.
Plastribution Group’s core business is the distribution of thermoplastic pellets for injection moulding, extrusion and blow moulding industries and the acquisition fulfils the company’s growth strategy to offer a wider range of plastic products, to include a sheet business, in their products division.
Based in Thurmaston, Eagle Plastics supplies semi-finished thermoplastic materials to a diverse client base including blue-chip organisations. The business has eleven employees who will be retained at their existing site in Leicester, along with Managing Director Darren Clarke.
Leading the deal from Geldards’ Corporate team was partner Debra Martin who was supported by solicitor Hugh White, who advised on all elements of the transaction.
