Miller Homes pledges over £300,000 to develop Nottinghamshire Community

 Miller Homes Midlands is investing over three hundred thousand pounds into the local community as part of its latest development in Farnsfield, Nottinghamshire.

Work is now well under way at its Augustus Grange development off Milldale Road, with the leading housebuilder’s contribution supporting a number of local initiatives.

As part of the funding, a £148,915 contribution will be invested in Farnsfield St Michael’s Church of England Primary School, with a further £70,875 used to provide and maintain facilities at the Farnsfield Village Hall, and the local cricket, football, tennis and bowls clubs. A new children’s play area will also be created, with a donation of £54,194.

Additionally, Miller Homes is investing in transport links around the village, with £22,000 pledged in order to carry out improvements at two major bus stops. Also, the much loved Southwell Trail will see a £5,000 injection of funds, which will be used for new signage and restoration work. A further £2,323 will also be donated to the local library for new books, taking the grand total to £303,307.
