Derby-based manufacturer Tidyco, which supplies Parker hydraulic and pneumatic components to a global customer base, has recently expanded its operations with the opening of a new manufacturing and distribution plant.
The new facility will further streamline the manufacturing and distribution process and an improved stockholding facility will allow the company to support an increase in consumer demand.
The new plant was officially opened by Amanda Solloway MP earlier this month.
She said: “It is great to see British manufacturing businesses expanding. I am really looking forward to taking a look around”.
Philip Mason, production director for Tidyco, said: “A great deal of effort has gone into the new plant expansion. I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank Tidyco’s very own Michael Bishop, whose hard work and dedication to this particular project has been outstanding.
He added: “Tidyco is dedicated to a continuing expansion programme and the official opening of the new plant forms part of a long term growth strategy. Tidyco will continue innovating in order to enhance the scope and scale of the organisation’s overall service offering”.
