Hampton by Hilton Corby/Kettering in Northamptonshire has been sold to asset management company Frank Truman for some £6m according to reports by The Caterer .
The hotel was Europe’s first Hampton by Hilton, and features three conference suites, a business centre, restaurant and bar, and fitness suite.
Commenting on the news, Andy Townsend, Chief Executive at Legacy Hotels & Resorts, says: “We are delighted to have been able to support the sale process of the hotel having operated it for the past few years and clearly we are pleased to have been able to secure a new agreement on the hotel with one of our principal investors.”
Henry Jackson, partner at Knight Frank, which advised on the sale, said: “There was strong interest in this asset, and we are pleased to have overseen a successful transaction. The supply of available hotels in the market remains limited, so we are seeing considerable interest in the sector when opportunities arise.”
