Derby-based global aerospace and defence supply chain service provider Pattonair are holding their first Autumn Ball at Derby’s Roundhouse to support Childline, the free and confidential children’s helpline.
James Lewis, from Bamfords Auctioneers & Valuers and star of Flog It!, Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip, will lead an after-dinner auction to generate vital cash for the NSPCC-run service. Lots will include signed England cricket memorabilia, a box at Ascot races and a VIP tour of JCB.
The event will be held on 23rd September, hosted by Pattonair. The evening includes a drinks reception, three-course meal, on-stage entertainment and a disco.
NSPCC Corporate Partnerships Manager Camilla Wood said: “We are so grateful to Pattonair for their support at this fantastic event. The money raised will help ensure that Childline counsellors are there for children that have nowhere else to turn, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”
Pattonair Chief Executive Wayne Hollinshead said: “We are delighted to be supporting Childline at this year’s ball and hope to raise as much money as possible for this vital service. It promises to be a great night of dinner and entertainment for a really important cause.”
