John Pye Auctions and Nottingham Forest FC have come together to run a charity auction that offers fans the chance to secure signed and worn football shirts as well as other football merchandise all for a great cause.
The online auction, which is now live and ends on Monday 27th November, will raise funds for the Club’s 2017 Toy Appeal; an initiative that provides toys and gifts for disadvantaged children in the local community and in the QMC hospital over the Christmas period.
Nottingham-based John Pye Auctions, commercial partner of Nottingham Forest FC for the fifth season running, will auction the large selection of match-worn signed shirts and other exclusive items through its online auction on behalf of the Club.
The lots, which are now live, include home shirts signed and worn during the Carabao Cup match against Chelsea earlier this season by Forest players Jordan Smith, Joe Worrall, Tyler Walker, Zach Clough, Mustapha Carayol, Ben Osborn, Jason Cummings, Daryl Murphy, Michael Mancienne, Kieran Dowell, Andreas Bouchalakis, Barrie McKay, Eric Lichaj, Danny Fox, Jack Hobbs, Ben Brereton and Tendayi Darikwa.
Sheldon Miller, business development director at John Pye Auctions, said: “We are now into our fifth season as commercial partner of Nottingham Forest FC, so to be able to continue to support the Club with its charity work is brilliant.
“The Club has a strong and loyal following across the region, which is why I anticipate these lots to be very popular, especially in the lead up to Christmas.
“The Toy Appeal is a fantastic cause that we are proud to be supporting especially as we enter the festive season. I hope we can make a real difference to children and their families.”
