Double nomination for Wynbrook at Pinders Awards

Care Home Builders Wynbrook is celebrating the news that two of its recent care home projects have being shortlisted for the 2018 Pinders Healthcare & Design Awards.
Wynbrook, which is based in Radcliffe on Trent Nottingham is the only builder in this year’s awards that have two entries shortlisted in the ‘Best New Care Home’ category.
Wynbrook designed and built the two care homes working on behalf of care home operators Adept Care Homes on Chetwynd House and Majesticare for Fernhill House.
On being nominated, Wynbrook’s Design & Build Construction Director Steve Day said: We are thrilled to have completed two luxury care homes for Adept Care Homes and Majesticare, both on time and within budget. We look forward to finding out whether each project has been successful in winning an award”.
Chetwynd House is located in Chilwell Nottingham and is the most recent home to open after a 16 month construction programme. The care home offers residents luxury living along with professionally landscaped gardens, a cinema and an in house pub.
Wynbrook completed Fernhill House back in March 2017. Fernhill House is a 66 bed care home located in Worcester and is one of the first most advanced care homes Wynbrook has built with specialist features which include therapy rooms, a low resistance gym and a craft room to offer variety for its residents.
The Pinders Healthcare Design Awards seek to acknowledge the contribution made by designers, architects, and the owners of care homes, retirement housing and other care schemes to the well- being and quality of life for those in their care.
The 2018 Pinders Healthcare Design Awards lunch will be held on 14th March at the Royal Lancaster London Hotel during which the winners of all categories will be announced.
