Opus Energy, the Northampton-based business energy supplier, has been named as one of the UK’s top 10 healthiest brands, alongside Dyson, Innocent and Easyjet.
The company was named sixth in Kantar Millward Brown’s first UK BrandZ study.
The firms were judged based on purpose, innovation, communications, brand experience and love, and are seen to have disrupted a category either through a strong sense of purpose, seamless brand experience or fresh innovation.
Opus attributed success to its innovation and “proven success in taking on the Big Six energy companies”.
In addition, Opus Energy was awarded the British Small Business award for ‘Utilities Provider of the Year’ earlier this month.
“Being recognised with both an award for small business services and a vote of brand confidence is a fantastic way to mark an exciting and fast-paced year for Opus Energy,” COO Nikki Flanders said.
