East Midlands Business Link’s Bricks awards will help to raise much needed funds for homeless charity the Friary in Nottingham.
The Friary’s mission is to empower homeless and vulnerable adults to rebuild their lives by offering practical services, advice and emotional support. Every year the charity caters for 15,000 visits from local people who are suffering the effects of homelessness, substance misuse, financial destitution and social isolation.
As Steve Fisher, Editorial Director of Business Link explains, “While the East Midlands Bricks Awards are set to honour the stars of the region’s commercial property sector, it also seemed a perfect opportunity to help raise money for the fantastic work that the Friary carry out every year. So, we’ve made a small charge for guests attending the event on 8th February and 100% of this money will be passed on to the Friary, to help the homeless”
Tickets for the event are available HERE.
Our awards will drill down into what is really happening in the world of commercial property – from offices, industrial and residential, through to community projects such as leisure schemes and schools.
