A new business launched in Nottingham will help technology companies overcome one of the biggest challenges they face – finding the right talent.

Intelligent Ways has been launched by Jonathan Millett and Luca Loscalzo, who combine experience of both traditional IT recruitment and marketing expertise within the technology industry.

Their business offers a managed talent solution targeted at high-growth technology companies.

It achieves this by understanding the culture of the businesses it works with, being an advocate for them in the tech community, and identifying only high-quality candidates who meet their specific needs.

And Intelligent Ways has chosen to base itself at the heart of Nottingham’s burgeoning tech community, taking space in Accelerate Places on Wollaton Street – the technology co-working hub opened by the UK’s leading venture builder, Blenheim Chalcot.

Loscalzo said: “We’re not a traditional recruitment agency. We offer a low-friction talent solution which plugs our partners in to candidates pre-filtered to meet their needs.

“What this means is we learn the cultures, values, technical and business demands of all our partners and match that to the people in the tech community.

“That enables us to not only optimise the hiring processes for our partners, but also to help position their brand in the market and ultimately manage their growth”.

Millett added: “We also bring trust into the recruitment industry – a sector where trust is notoriously absent. This gives applicants and the hiring company assurance in the quality and validity of the opportunity present for both sides”.

The firm has chosen to move into Accelerate Places because of its growing reputation as a hub for the tech community in Nottingham and the wider East Midlands.

Millett said: “Moving into Accelerate Places has placed Intelligent Ways at the heart of the tech community. This is exactly the kind of young, modern, refreshing environment tech companies are leaning towards – mobile, remote, shared and scalable.

“It’s an environment where connections happen and opportunities are created. As soon as we knew it was opening we picked up the phone”.
