Legendary motorbike manufacturer posts £90m surge in revenues

Champagne corks must be popping at Triumph Motorcycles, the Hinckley based motorbike manufacturer, as they posted a surge in revenues of over £90m for its full year.

Triumph has grown revenues to £498.5m by up £90.9m on the previous year) translating into profit before exceptional costs of £24.7m (up £8.1m on the same period last year).

A statement from Triumph states: “In the face of continuing challenging economic and currency conditions, including Brexit, Triumph Group has performed strongly and has maintained its commitment and investment in research and development, with a view to furthering the continuous improvements of its products.

“Triumph is excited about the future and is committed to delivering its long-term vision through investment in the company’s people, facilities and product that fuses character, heritage and performance to ensure the success of the brand.”
