Brexit jitters don’t seem to have affected Nottingham’s fantasy games company, the Games Workshop Group, as it forecasts revenues of more than £100m for the first half of its financial year, ahead of its interim results report in January.

Turnover is an estimated £109m, while operating profit for the period is an expected to be in the region of £38m.

A statement from Games Workshop added: “Over the first half we have seen sales and profit growth in all channels in constant currency terms with the momentum continuing throughout period.

“These results are in line with expectations for the year ending 3 June 2018 although the board is aware that it is still early in the 2017/18 financial year.”
