Mercia Image, Gravity Digital and Square One Creative have combined their resources along with Simply Uniform to create a Full Service Marketing Agency, specifically for the Education sector.
UNDER ONE ROOF was created after the principles, from each company, realised they were all targeting the same customers and recognised the opportunity to provide Graphic Design, Digital Media, Print and School Uniforms as one.
Amanda Strong, Mercia Image, said: “It just made so much sense! We all kept meeting at Marketing Derby events and realised we were all using our sales resources to target the same people.”
Sharon Stevens-Cash, Gravity Digital, continued: “The sector is so specialist and, of late, has had to become more business orientated, so there is a lot more opportunity to discuss a full marketing strategy with School and Education Establishment Heads.”
After a lengthy brain storm, over a couple of G&T’s, UNDER ONE ROOF was born. Maggie Lucas, Square One, was charged with developing a brand image and styling which would reflect and appeal to the Education sector, Gravity Digital a website, Mercia Image a brochure and direct mailer and Matthew Harrison, Simply Uniform, an array of promotional products and visuals to enhance the campaign.
The results have shown such promise that UNDER ONE ROOF have now taken a stand at the forthcoming Education Show at the NEC, reportedly the biggest Education show in the country with over 7,000 visitors, 1000+ School Leaders and about the same number of trade buyers.
UNDER ONE ROOF have plans for marketing to other sectors in the future. Amanda concluded: “The collaboration between the companies offers a hugely more competitive solution to any business. The savings we make on marketing to a business once, rather than four times, will certainly reflect in cost savings to the clients”.
