Deloitte has appointed Logan Mantle as assistant corporate finance manager in its East Midlands corporate advisory team.
Mantle joins the Nottingham office of Deloitte from Smith Cooper in Derby and previously spent four years at BHP Chartered Accountants in Chesterfield.
David Jones, corporate finance advisory partner at Deloitte in Nottingham, said: “Logan is a great addition to our team. He knows the local market well, and is already making a valuable contribution to our clients and the firm’s 750-strong Midlands practice.
“M&A activity, despite the uncertainty of recent months, remains buoyant, with a strong deal pipeline heading into 2017. We are also seeing an increased appetite for overseas investment in Midlands businesses. It therefore remains imperative that we continue our strong track record of recruiting the highest quality dealmakers”.
Mantle added: “Deloitte is the market leader in the East Midlands with one of the largest and most experienced teams, so I’m delighted to have joined the business. For me personally, it provides the opportunity to work on high profile deals whilst being supported by a multi-disciplinary firm with access to an un-paralleled global network”.
During 2016, Deloitte’s East Midlands corporate finance team successfully completed a number of landmark transactions. These included the sale of WR Evans to PCT Healthcare, the sale of Fast React Systems to Coats Plc and, most recently, Highbridge Principal Strategies’ acquisition of Autonet Insurance Services.
