Nottingham engineering consultancy firm BWB has bought Northants-based QMP in a move that bosses say will “add value and resilience to the company.”
QMP provides building surveying, project management and quantity surveying predominantly to public sector and Higher Education Clients. QMP employs 26 people and operates from a head office in Brixworth, Northamptonshire with satellite offices in Cambridge and London.
Steve Wooler, managing director at BWB, said: “There is a very good fit between our respective services and clients. Unlike BWB, QMP has a long history and strong reputation with public sector clients.
“Together we can provide clients with a comprehensive range of consultancy services across the entire life cycle of their development projects; from initial feasibility and planning, through design and construction, operation and maintenance, and ultimately through to redevelopment.”
