Lincoln-based house builder Truelove Property and Constrution has appointed a new architectural technician to join the team.
Matthew Turner (28) from Lincoln graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a BSc honours degree in architectural technology in 2013, before securing full-time positions in the architectural field.
Delighted with his new appointment, he said: “I was born and bred in Lincoln and I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to work right in the heart of the city which has come at just the right time for me.”
Matthew, who has a wealth of experience through his previous role in a similar position, will be responsible for drawing up the working designs of all of the firm’s property house types.
For Matthew, interest in the subject first stemmed from a construction course at college, where he would spend one day a week studying and the rest of the week working as a trainee architectural technician for an associated architect.
He added: “I’m really looking forward to getting started and using my experience in generating 3D renders and images to aid the team with designs of the latest developments. This goes beyond the exterior plans and also includes creating the interior designs of a Truelove home.”
Barrie Truelove, Director at the company, said: “We’re delighted to have Matthew join the team. His knowledge and experience in a number of sectors including residential and industrial properties should stand him in good stead for his new role with the company.”
