Financial and business management software provider Solutions for Accounting and CRM has launched a recruitment drive that will see the size of its workforce grow by 20%.
The Nottingham-based firm is currently recruiting for eight new roles across the business, including four apprenticeships, which will see its staff headcount rise from 39 to 47.
It is looking for telemarketers to generate leads and referrals for its newly-created business development team, more sales staff, along with apprentices to provide marketing, business admin, IT and technical support.
The firm is holding an Apprenticeships Open Day, on 28 June, to give this year’s leavers from nearby Trinity School the opportunity to find out more about the company, the roles available and how they can apply.
Solutions was formed in 1998 with only one member of staff. It has developed into one of the UK’s leading Sage and Swiftpage business partners, with several strategically-located regional offices across the UK.
In 2015, it merged with Derby-based BluebirdCRM, a provider of CRM and marketing software solutions including Sage CRM, MailChimp and Act!, which aimed to help SMEs grow by improving their sales and marketing capabilities.
Since the merger, the firm has expanded its portfolio by adding Salesforce, the world’s leading CRM provider, to its services.
MD Iain Barker said: “The merger has enabled our two companies to achieve more together than they would have been able to as separate businesses. We’ve already created 13 new jobs since the merger two years ago and we are now laying the foundations for our next period of growth by creating these roles, which will enable us to provide even more high quality, value adding services with excellent customer care.
“Our success has been built on the back of apprenticeships and the team members we have recruited via this route.
“We have an active apprenticeship programme with an annual intake, and many of our key staff started with us as apprentices and have worked their way up the business. So, it’s great to be able to offer even more opportunities for local young adults to join us and forge an exciting career for themselves.”
