Firms offered free advice about complying with regulations

Businesses are invited to meet the experts from regulatory authorities over coffee to find out how they can help them comply with regulations and get it right first time.

‘Ask the expert to make Business Better for All’ takes place on Tuesday 31st October, 9.00am- 10.30pm at the Leicester Fire and Rescue Service Offices, Leicester.

The event aims to help unravel the regulations which affect everyday business and make the ‘dos and don’ts’ easier to understand. It will provide an opportunity for businesses to be heard by senior leaders as well as helping to improve the way that regulatory services are delivered.

Guest speakers include: Senior regulators from Fire and Rescue service, Environmental Health, Trading Standards, and Business representatives from Food and Drink sector, FSB and Chamber of Commerce. They will also answer questions directly from local businesses about regulatory issues.

Alan Twells, Head of Regulatory Services, Charnwood Borough Council said,” The Better Business for all Partnership was set up to support business to grow and comply. In this uncertain Regulatory Future we are keen to know what your main concerns are and how we can help, so this is your opportunity to help us to help you.”

‘Ask the expert to make Better Business for All’ is run by the LLEP Business Gateway Better Business For All Partnership, which was established to provide a co-ordinated regulatory service to help simplify the regulation process for businesses and make it easier to understand how to ‘get it right first time’.
